061609_pageview_smliamhoran_color_smLiam Horan is a freelance journalist and broadcaster. He is a former Gaelic Games correspondent of the Irish Independent (1995-2000), and has twice been honoured in the GAA’s McNamee Media Awards scheme.

He lives in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo, and is honest enough to admit he shares many of Championship Man’s traits. As do many belonging to him.
